What's the best way to get this patch prior to the next release? Also, which files would it be in?

I'm refering to the security levels in configuration section. For example basic, medium, etc. I'm trying to fix my search page problem and setting to medium is hiding some entries. Look at the last replies for "search" problem post that is right below this one.

Can someone explain or point me to the different security levels and what each level allows/denys?

Actually setting security to 'medium' fixed my search problem but it broke something else. Now I can't see some of the recent FAQs that I added. I checked the FAQ entries and they are set to "all groups" and "all users". Not sure why they disappeared. I went back and set the secu...

I just came on to investigate this as well. I was not getting search results, just the number of found items. I went to the admin console and change from 'basic' to 'medium' and now my results are showing up. It worked for me but it still seems weird.

I did go the the admin section but got the same results. There was a change in search.php between 1.5.4 and 1.5.6. I just got my plugin back if I reverted back to the 1.5.4 version of search.php.
