Hi,
On my working installation, the tracking files cannot be created properly. The data directory is basically not whiteable by g and o, only by root.
Which should be the rights and ownership for this directory ?
Making it open to anyone rw seems abusive.
Does php run as the owner of apache server ...

I solved the problem temporarily by going back to apache 1.3.something
my installation was now successful.
I even put it in English...

Maybe you would care for a French version ?
If the only two files needed are the config_xx.dat and the xx.php, I might take care of this, as a sign of thanks to ...
