Version 2.9 and PHP version
Greetings all, I am installing 2.9, it appears the minimum PHP version is 5.5. Is this a hard requirement? I am stuck with my IT department supporting specific RHEL with supported packages only, the OS comes with 5.4. I am also stuck behind a DMZ and doesn't allow me for an upgrade even if they waiv...

Re: Unable to publish after revision
Hello Thorsten, I think I figured the problem out, mainly a user issue but I can't take all the blame :) The user is part of a group that did not have the publish box checked (you were right to think that), the interesting thing is even after me trying to log and publish it the process failed as an ...

Re: PDF Export Truncating Tables
Hello Thorsten, There isn't any specialized HTML code in the table, I used the built-in content editor to build the tables. I have sent you the table HTML output from this record privately, there is some content I don't wish to publish publicly. By the way, if I attempt to print the record from the ...

Re: Unable to publish after revision
Hello Thorsten,
Yes, the user does have the proper privileges. I even logged in as an admin, I did not have the option to tag the record with visible=yes. I created a new revision with admin credentials and still the same issue, only option is visible=no.
Thank you.

Re: PDF Export Truncating Tables
Hello Thorsten,
I have enclosed two snapshopts, one with _online and one with _export. As you can see, the PDF export chewed out 4 columns and the first column grew, this happens for every table that's a bit large.
Thank you.

Unable to publish after revision
Greetings all,
Another user created a revision for an existing entry, now the Visible = Yes is missing. The only option showing is Visible = No, we're not able to publish the record. Are we hitting a bug or is there something we need to do?
Thanks.

Re: PDF Export Not Searchable
Hello Thorsten, I think I found the issue with the PDF, it has to do with the included fonts. The only font available in the faq/assets/template/default/fonts is "glyphicons" and "fontawesome-webfont", these are not typically available on Windows machines. Once I installed the pa...

PDF Export Not Searchable
Greetings all and Happy New Year, I exported the whole database and today someone reported the PDF file is not searchable, it appears it's something to do with fonts and Unicode. Any suggestions? Also, the PDF file has my email address in the footer part of the copyright notice, can I remove that? T...

Hello Melanie,
That might work, doesn't hurt to try
Which template did you modify?
Thanks,
Gibran

Re: Move Search Box
Hello Thorsten,
That did not work. I also tried using <section> tages with no luck, I moved the search below the "news feed" and it messed up the whole page.
Thanks,
Gibran

Re: Move Search Box
Hello Thorsten, I moved the search section from index.tpl to main.tpl as seen below, but the darn search box overlaps with the "Popular Search Words" box. I know I need to add some additional HTML stuff, any suggestions? <Section> <div class="pmf-searchbox"> <form role="sear...

Move Search Box
Greetings all,
I search the forum I did not find the answer, dropping the question for little help.
How can I move the search box above the "Popular Search Words" box and make it about the same size? I want the search box to be the focus of the landing page.
Thank you,
Gibran

Include Question ID in Add Question
Greetings all, Since I am disabling the "Comment" option for all questions, I want to give the users the ability to reference a specific solution ID. I thought about the option of making the Solution ID hot and map it to Add Question, but that sounds complicated. I am not savvy with web st...

Re: Disable Comments
Thanks Thorsten.
It worked. It does leave the Comment tag in that section but it's not active, not a big deal but just an FYI.
