Form elements in Articles?
I tried placing a form in an article, using the HTML editor. But these changes are discarded when I click "Update". Does phpmyfaq not allow forms in articles? Here's what I tried to add: <form method="get" action="webcall.mpl" target="_new"> <input type='hidde...

$LANG variables appearing in the TinyMCE editor
I am seeing {$lang_variables} appearing in the article editor where the translated strings should appear. For example, in the editor toolbar, the tooltip for the "New" button appears as {$lang_newdocument_desc} instead of the string "New". As far as I can tell, this is only happe...

Quotes in Glossary entries break IE
Internet Explorer will not display an article correctly if a Glossary entry appears in the article title AND that Glossary entry contains double quote characters. E.g. Glossary Entry: Foo = "Bar" Article: What is Foo? In our system, we saw the style sheet elements not displayed correctly, ...

Hi Thorsten Although upping the memory limit to 32MB as I reported earlier made the page load completely, it is still extremely slow to load, taking 2 or 3 minutes even for a short article (or a brand new one) (so it is not the article data that is slowing things down). As you said, it might be the ...

Category management
I'm in the process of reorganizing our category structure and I must say this is a pain. I want to sort the categories alphabetically but they were entered in a random order. I find I must exchange each category in the precise order, one step at a time. This is made more difficult because the UI doe...

Does phpmyfaq track users' search terms?
I want to know what my users are searching for? How do I find that? Are there logs somewhere?

Better configuration options
I would love to see more configuration options and better administration tools in 2.5. Specifically, allow the administrator to change many things that currently can only be changed by hacking the code or modifying the css: Configure the layout of the page sections (e.g. change the placement of Top ...

Improving Search
I am wondering if you have plans to provide more intelligent searching in phpMyFAQ. Right now, it appears that search is doing no relevance ranking of results. For example, if I search for "foo bar", I find all articles with either "foo" or "bar" but these are sorted in...

Export to PDF, XML not working (2.0.3)
I am running phpMyFAQ 2.0.3. The Export function seems to only work for DocBook, and even then, not reliably. When I output to PDF, the result is zero byte files. I turned DEBUG on and received the following error: Notice: Undefined variable: sql in /home/rick/src/lo_trunk/phpmyfaq/inc/Faq.php on li...

I sent a copy of the database to thorsten@phpmyfaq.de. Did you receive that?
I've upgraded to 2.0.3 but it doesn't appear that this bug is fixed there yet.
