you should update to 1.5.7 as soon as possible. It seems that someone found a way to crack old vulnerable versions... :-( Thorsten I've been holding out for 1.6, any idea how much longer? What is involved in the upgrade process, anyway? Is it just a matter of copying the new files over the old ones...

Version 1.5

I'm inclined to agree that this isn't necessarily a myfaq problem, but that is where I've found the first appearance of this issue and have not seen it elsewhere yet. Meanwhile, I' running every anti-virus / spyware program I have on the system.

spyware infection in phpmyfaq?

I'm finding that when I pull up PHPMyFaq I have various terms highlighted (in green) and they have been hyperlinked with links similar to the following: http://new.trafficsector.com/smb/ezula_proc.php?uid=534605&ezid=121633&elid=9380&db=0#do_redir How are these getting into my code? Is this a proble...

Display database inquiry as faq answer

Is it possible to display the results of a URL which is, in fact, a PHP/MySql generated page, as the answer to a FAQ so that the user will essentially see the results of the database inquiry request as the answer? Or in other words, the answer to a question is what is the center column of what is di...

Thorsten - Yep, that did it. Sorry for being such a dunce. I could blame on on the fact that I'm here typing at almost 4 AM, but the fact is it just didn't occur to me that I had to select the category if I had only created one category. Thank you very much for helping me through this. It's a nice p...

Thorsten - Well, that could depend on what we mean by selected. I'm about to feel like an idiot. Would you mean that if I only have a single category and I want to add a question/answer, then I have to click on the category name in the upper box so that it is highlighted before I do the entry of the...

Here is what I get from the control panel after logging in as Admin, which is followed (after the row of *****) by what I'm getting when I just try to go to the main page as an ordinary user. Just in case, my configuration is PHP 5.x, MySql 5.x, and Apache 2.2 all on windows 2000. Thanks, -Danny. ph...

Cannot Create Entry

I can't seem to add FAQs (questions and answers) from the admistrative control panel. I choose create entry, enter the question and the answer and hit save - but then it gives me a page titled "Administration of Records" and the message: "An error occured." What's going on here? If I add my question...
