Re: What does a faqdata_user or faqdata_group relationship mean?
Um..... I lied. It is still broken in 2.6.5. If I set a faqdata_user relationship (to a FAQ entry) to 1 and then a faqdata_group entry also to '1' (so they are not setup for anonymous at all) and then search by a solution_id I still get the error I mentioned earlier. It seems like that should not be...

TinyMCE faqlistbox does not scale to 61K entries, PMF 2.6.5
I know this is probably a no-brainer, but disabling this was a bit more work than I thought it would be originally so this is mostly an FYI unless somebody wants to propose a great way to re-enable this feature without requiring me to give PHP a gigabyte of RAM and highly recommending a broadband co...

Bug in Comment Feature, PMF 2.6.5
In my fresh 2.6.5 setup I cannot submit comments. I get a nastygram about not having specified all of the fields I should have (name, e-mail, comment, and captcha) though I have. I am seeing this in multiple browser and the error seems to be coming back from the server so I do not think it is browse...

Re: What does a faqdata_user or faqdata_group relationship mean?
Looks like 2.6.5 has fixed it. That's good; thanks.

Re: Public/Internal data in the same FAQ
I think I understand what you are saying, but it means that I was not clear. Reworded, is it possible to have part of an individual FAQ entry (a single question/answer) be private/internal while the rest is publicly-visible? I know that I can make individual FAQ entries, in their entirety, only visi...

Public/Internal data in the same FAQ
Is it possible to have a part of a FAQ be invisible to anonymous (-1) users? Would there be an easy way to implement this type of feature so that while a part of a FAQ could be public the owner of the FAQ database could hide some data along with the FAQ just for Internal folks?
Thanks.
Thanks.

What does a faqdata_user or faqdata_group relationship mean?
For example I have a group called 'employees' and all company employees are a member of this group. Most FAQs are publicly-readable which is nice but when I search for the solution_id of a FAQ that is not publicly-readable (faqdata_group refers only to employees) then whether I am doing that search ...

Re: Category Ordering Improvements
Fair enough; where do I find it? Also I'm interested in some search improvements performance-wise. What can I do to make the searching happen as quickly as possible? For example, pretend I have 61,000 documents and the database is (currently, but changeable) PostgreSQL and I want searches to be fast...

Yes, that was the bit I addressed in my first post, though.

Re: Category Ordering Improvements
Perhaps another idea would be to enable a sort-alphabetically option disabling the option to rearrange the order of categories but instead sorting via the 'ORDER' section of the SQL which pulls in categories. That would probably be a fairly trivial change overall. Any thoughts?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Category Ordering Improvements
As I was writing a post a few seconds ago about category ordering I though of another test to do and now I think I have it worked out. The long and short of it is that, by default, phpMyFAQ presents categories ordered by the faqcategories table's id column. While that works and changing the ordering...

Manually importing FAQs
I am in the middle of trying out phpMyFAQ to see if it is a viable option as a destination for a current knowledgebase of documents. In their current form the documents reside in my filesystem in an XML format. I am able to convert these fairly well to SQL statements which insert into the faqdata an...
