Update 2.7.7 to 2.7.9

I have basic instructions to update from 2.7.7 to 2.7.9, but it's not clear where I should place the unzipped 2.7.9 files. I have them in Ubuntu /var/www/faq (my current scripts for working FAQ are /var/www) but when I run update.php in /var/www/faq/install, all I get is the header about updating and the links to this web site; the rest of the page is blank. Can someone tell me what I may have set up wrong?

Also, will future versions have an 'update' button as part of the Administration section? That would make this much easier.

Hi,

just copy the new files over the old files and run the update as written in our documentation.
