Category administrator

Dear all,

what is the meaning behind a Category Administrator?

The documentation tells me "...and you can bind an administrator to that category. This is quite nice if you want to share the work in your FAQ between various admin users...".

I bind a user to a category but I don't see any difference to other categories where other users are admins...What shall this admin can do? Creating new sub-categories???

Hi,

normally only the administrator gets an e-mail then e.g. a new FAQ entry was added in a special category. If you set the category administrator, this second admin also gets an e-mail.

Hi Thorsten,

that's what I excpected - but it did not happen. In 2 categories, I have specified 2 other persons as category admin. I created a new faq as well as a new question. But the only one who's got an email is me as an administrator. I asked the other people to check their spam folder, but without success.
Could the problem be the mail server? On the other hand - I got the email as admin...
