Upgrading from 2.5.2 to 2.7

So... the documentation says to delete all files except [files/directories].
Then open browser and run /install/update.php.

How can I run that page if I just deleted it??? The install directory is gone!
Do I re-upload the 2.5.2 /install/ directory or the 2.7 /install/ ?

well you need to download 2.7 if thats the version you would like to use, but i will let ya know 2.5 -> 2.7 is a tough upgrade due to the layout changes.

Im just saying, if I need to delete said files... then FTP over the new files and directories and everything in them (except for what I didn't delete) then there's a big step missing from the documentation. That's what I'm doing now and I'm hoping for the best. As far as the templates, well, I have a very customized template so I'm gonna be tweaking it for hours/days no matter how easy the upgrades are. (hence why I only upgrade every now and then)
