Can't update an entry

Post by calande »

I have created an entry, then I want to change it, but instead of putting the new content, it erases the content. it only works if I put very few text like "test". Any idea? Thanks,

Ok, I found out... My phpMyFAQ doesn't allow characters such as è, even è anymore, or it doesn't display content. Is this a bug?
(I removed these characters)

Hi,
that's really strange: could you post the System Information section in the backend start page and which are the languages you're using for your faqs?

Wow,
you're bleeding the edge :)
We've an issue with umlauts from another user running PMF on PHP 5.2.0 on IIS6.0. I guess they are both arised by the use of PHP 5.2.0: we'll investigate it.

Hi,

is it possible that the new Filter extension erases the content? Can you disable ext/filter so we can check this?

bye

See here:
Appendix G. php.ini directives wrote:filter.default
filter.default_flags

Thank you Matteo, actually these two parameters of php.ini are already commented out... Any idea?

Thanks again!

Hi,
nothing, maybe 'cause here is night now -> GMT+1 ;).
I'll start debugging over a PHP 5.2.0 setup and I'll report any feedback.
