Auto Populate a tag into existing documents - php 2.8

Post by melanie.jones »

we are in the process of transferring articles from 2.8 to 2.9, and were going to put some interns on the task. We need to remove some logos and attachments from each file, so that part would be manual. I am looking for an easy way for an intern to know which files have been updated and which files have not, without making the files inaccessible (as our users still need to access the files in this transition).

What ideas do you have for this process? I am wondering if there is an easy way to tag all of the articles in one go with a tag indicating they haven't been updated either from the front end that I am not aware of, or some way it could be done from back end, maybe downloading all the information into a csv file, adding the tag in excel, and then re-uploading to the site?
