my own seo friendly url pattern ?

Post by Reza »

Hello,
I'm new to phpmyfaq, so first of all I want to thank Thorsten and his team (I guess!) for their great KB script.
well, I'm customizing phpmyfaq a bit. I need to change the url pattern so it would be something like article/cat_title/faq_title instead of content/0/1/en/faq_title.html .
I modified .htaccess but didn't work. It seems it's in somewhere in codes. Any one knows what files should I edit to make it work?

Your helps would be greatly appreciated.

Since I didn't get any reply in this board (sadly) and also I can't make my website online with the current super ugly url pattern, I did some grep search using ssh to find what urls are using the original pattern. I found inc/PMF/Link.php and changed the constant PMF_LINK_CONTENT value from content to article. Also renamed and modified .htaccess and replaced content with article as well but the urls are not working. Any idea that what else files should I modify?

Hi,

sorry for the late answer. You found the correct parts for the rewrite code. What's not working?
bye
