Related Entries Aren't Related

Post by rickliveops »

How does phpMyFAQ determine related entries? It appears to be random in most cases. Is it because most of my entries don't have keywords or tags yet? (I have 140 entries, so tagging them all is taking some time).

Well, you could "fat finger" (manually do UPDATE queries) on the database tables, but that could be "royal pain in the ..."

Mr. Thorsten I need help here.

Before my question I'd like to tell you how great a product this is. Thank you for this!

Now for the question: I manually added keywords to every single FAQ entry on the database. The keywords are separated by commas. However everytime I look at an article, the related articles would always be the first 5 FAQ items I created, which is very annoying because in no way are they "related" at all. Is there something wrong? I thought the keywords search thingy is how the related articles work.

Thanks! Hoping to hear from you.
