Sub categories are not showing up on Front Page
Moderator: Thorsten
I see subcategories only, when I have a faq entry in one of the subcategories.
After i delete the entry, the subcategiries will show up!
And know why now:
The new subcategories have automatically my user-group. When I have a faq entry in this new category, the category has automatically the all-user-group as permission!
Php 4.7
MySql 4
phpMyFaq 2.0.2

Hi,
I was having the same problem but also found a workaround.
When adding a new subforum add them as you normally would, then click the rename button and select the option Limited access for [dropdown list] and submit, now it will show up even on my laptop which is not logged in..
has to be a permission issue, hope it helps!
Edit:
Hmm ignore upper message, it does not matter which option you select, just click the rename button and then submit, now it should show up...

Categories not showing up
I'm having this problem and have tried all the tips in this thread, but so far still can't get subcategories to show up on front page. Has this been fixed at all? I'm running the latest version and still seems to be a problem.
Hi,
please update to the latest stable cvs snapshot and try it again.

Sorry, not sure what 'cvs snapshot' means. I looked for upgrades, but only found the one I am currently using.
