[Administration interface] Number of visits problem: value not updating

Dear Thorsten Rinne / Development Team

Before reporting this situation to the server's administrators where our site is now hosted, we would like to be sure that this is not a phpMyFAQ problem.

The visits number in the first page of the administrator interface doesn't update.

In our case, the value remains the same for some time (months).

Clicking on the button “Get latest…”, the value (apparently) temporarily change but, after a logout/login it reverts to the older value.

Is it a phpMyFAQ-related bug?
