Softaculous Upgrade to 2.8.5 Error

Good Afternoon,

Wanted to post a note about an anomaly I've just confirmed.

This AM I performed an upgrade from 2.8.3 to 2.8.5 using the Softaculous tool and
it ran successfully. Or, so it appeared.

I just revisited the Control Panel and determined that

Softaculous reports version 2.8.5
PHPMYFAQ reports version 2.8.3

How can I determine which is correct...
the Softaculous entry or the software ?

I am from Softaculous Team. While upgrade did you visit the 3rd URL {INSTALLATIONPATH}/install/update.php
