Is it possible to have a link between the translation ?

Post by jhecto24 » Thu Sep 23, 2010 9:26 am

The different translation are not linked. They are considered by the tools as differents "FAQ record"

At the moment, if a user purpose a translation in spanish for an english FAQ, a new FAQ is created, it would be better is a translation flag appears on the FAQ.
So, when the user arrive on a new FAQ, he could see all the translation available.
More over, we can create 20 translation in spannish for this FAQ without problem

More over, when a user select his language and make a search, only the result on his language are displayed.
When he search on all languages, he could have three different line for the same result but in three different language :

Code: Select all

How could I add a user in My FAQ ?
Comment ajouter un utilisateur dans FAQ ?
Como anadir un usuario en FAQ
It would be better to have only one result :

Code: Select all

How could I add a user in My FAQ ? (available language : en - fr - es)
It could be great for a simple user if he can search through "all language", he have the result in his prefered language and if the result is not available on his prefered language the result is display in english...

Just a proposal ...
Have a good day.

Hi,

I think this feature was implemented some years ago... I have to check why it's gone now...
