[Suggestion] Using CSS3's :root pseudo-class selector
Dear Thorsten Rinne / Development Team
phpMyFAQ is increasingly adopting (X)HTML5 so – in our opinion – including CSS3's :root pseudo-class selector is a logical step.
Many instructions at the top of phpMyFAQ's default style sheet could be replaced by this pseudo-class selector.
However, not all users have (X)HTML5/CSS3 compliant browsers, thus adding :root at the beginning of the first line with the existing elements is (still) necessary.
A conditional style sheet loading/selection could be possible, but the resulting code wouldn't be "clean and simple".
Nevertheless, using :root don't interfere with non-compliant browsers, and it would prepare the code for future "full" (X)HTML5/CSS3 phpMyFAQ versions.
Kind regards

Hi,
as written in the other topic, the next version of phpMyFAQ with the label "2.8" is based on Bootstrap: http://twitter.github.com/bootstrap/
We use HTML5/CSS3 only and we think it's a big step forward.
bye
Thorsten
