[ Suggestion ] Using the short URL version on print and PDF FAQ versions

Dear Thorsten Rinne / Development Team

Recently, we suggested the use of the short form of a phpMyFAQ FAQ record when referring it on another internal record (preventing breaking the links after a question text edition on the related FAQ - also simplifying the URL).

We think that the same approach is useful on the print and PDF versions: the FAQ's title is already on the page[1].

Also, long URLs on those versions aren't fully visible due to their size - as you may see on the attached image.

If someone must use the long URL version, it's possible to mitigate the problem (e.g.) by using HTML5's "wbr" tag ("Word Break Opportunity"), & #8203 ; ("Zero Width Space" - ZWSP) Unicode character after each slash "/"
on the non-domain URL zone, or CSS3.

Using the URL on the image:

Code: Select all

https://faqs.up.pt/<wbr>faq/<wbr>content/<wbr>79/<wbr>496/<wbr>pt/<wbr>posso-...
(in XHTML it must be self-closing)
may be rendered as

https://faqs.up.pt/faq/content/79/496/pt/
posso-...

...
or
...
or
...
https://faqs.up.pt/
faq/
content/
79/
496/
pt/
posso-..
