Integration with Joomla

Post by SyntheticShield »

Are there any plans to have this compatable with the Joomla Content Management System.

I ran across this awsome program and would love to be able to use it within the Joomla CMS environment. Thanks.

I'm including phpMyFaq via a "wrapper" in Joomla.

I'm not sure what you mean by integration with Joomla, though. What goals, specifically, should an integration with Joomla meet?

In the Joomla world, a "wrapper" is a Joomla feature that enables the inclusion of another web page within a frame that is shown inside of the Joomla content. It's not something I came up with.

When will this "future" come? Four years passed since you say it.

I think you should put this integration on your recent Todo list: phpMyFAQ is good, but it can't be a whole website. But Joomla is becoming stronger and stronger, if you rewrite or fork phpMyFAQ as a Joomla component, it will be welcomed by more and more Joomla users across the world.

Some of my friends are now seeking for such an integration, because they want to build their website with Joomla CMS, but offer FAQ service with phpmyfaq.

So, again, I suggest you consider to do this integration soon.

Thanks.

Hi,

I never used Joomla so it will be hard for me to build a proper integration. I would help everyone who wants to implement this.
