Some ideas about multiligual sites..

Post by Roy »

Hello,

1) Now that there are two CSS's, one for RTL languages and one for LTR, when switching for example from English to Hebrew or vise versa, the CSS should change according to the $PMF_LANG["dir"].

2) The translation system as it is, is problematic for commercial sites because they can not trust just everyone's translation. They need the ability to grant a translation right to a trusted person.

Hi Roy,

this is already implemented in phpMyFAQ 2.0.0-RC. :-)

I know that problem, but how can we do that???

Hi Thorsten,

I was not aware that you already implemented the CSS switching. Thanks.

As for the translation, I think the interface should appear on the visitor front end (the same as currently) only if a visitor is logged in and is authorized for translating.
