Auto-Save Crash Protection

Post by dweiss »

It would be nice if phpMyFAQ incorporated some sort of auto-save routine so that if something goes wrong as a user is entering data - whether a question or an answer for a FAQ, they do not lose that data if there is a system crash, lost connection, or other such problem. This feature would be like the auto-save typically available on a word processing program which ensures that data is saved at regular intervals on an automated basis.

damn, i need this desperately!
I just wrote a huge faq, and accidentally hit CTRL+R, so lost everything! :(
my fault, but auto-save would be really wonderful. we're so used to it nowadays ;)

Hi,

we are working on a big architectional backend change and after we're finished with this an auto-save option will be very easy to implement.

Hi,

no, not yet... but we're getting closer with our backend infrastructure to achieve this.
