Modification of the attachments

Hi everyone,
I installed phpMyFaq, the latest release, on my server. The programs seems to be really great!
I discovered that every file attached has been saved in a different folder (taken from the hash code generated by the program), so I have 2 or 3 subfolders.
I think, on my website, I have more than 20000 files to be uploaded, so I think soon it will be impossible to take notes about the path and the relative faq.

there is any chance to decide where to save the file (folder and path). I use to save every group of file about a faq in a single folder. for example, every file about windows 7, it will be saved on the windows7 folder, under a subfolder called downloads.
Moreover, I use to save also some files in a "private" folder, always connect to a faq, but they are "hidden" from the "public view". Is it possible to do that?

I hope it's enough clear which is my "problem"... I am not English, so, maybe it can be a "misunderstanding"...

Thanks in advanced!
Andrea

Hi, thanks a lot for your answer.
Do you think that my idea can be useful for the next release? Maybe it can be enough a sort of "file manager" where to copy and create folder and upload on it the files that I need. I have some files more than 32 Mb (also 100 Mb videos etc), it will be possible to upload them from the faq manager or 32 Mb is the php limit?
One more question. How the search engines can re-index all my entire website if all data have been saved on a mysql db? At the moment I have lots of html (too long to scroll) and my website has been re-index by google (for example) during these years and I have a good position. If I will change the system, I will loose my position, cause I would like to "delete" the html version, and give the phpmyfaq the priority on my website.
My website is (in italian) at the following link: http://leotardi.no-ip.com (with DDNS server, but it works well).
Thanks again and again.
Best regards.
Andrea

Hi,

phpMyFAQ already includes a file manager. You can find it in the edit window for FAQs. The 32 MB limit is the one that's configured in your php.ini file.

To re-index your page you can use a page at google to request a visit by the googlebot.
