Hi There

I have been trying to move everything from one server to another but after attempting this, the only way I could do it was to install it afresh, add the template and restore a backup made with the existing system, then reconfigure apache.

Do you know why this would be the case? I thought it would be as easy as transferring everything from server to another without any additional configuration.

Hi,

you can move everything (files and database) from one server to another. The only things you might have to change are the database credentials in config/database.php and maybe the hostname in the table "faqconfig".
