ver 2.6.3 - Is there anyway to disable login

Post by PS123 » Thu Feb 04, 2016 9:24 am

We are running phpmyfaq for quiet sometime and we have lot of users but in order to reduce maintenance, we would like to disable username/password authentication for all action except admin functionality. Is there anyway to disable user login requirement?

If it is not possible for all function, could we disable authentication for read-only action like search, reading an article etc?

with the default configuration you don't have to login for search or read FAQs. Looks like you have enabled the complete secured FAQ.

You should upgrade your FAQ, version 2.6 is out of support and security updates for some years now.
