MySQL5 No database found (English)

I can't export to anything but docbook. If i export to html it gives me blank html file with head and empty body. The same with xml. PDF just gives nothing, no file. What should i do to repair this (xml & html, i don't need pdf and i don't use utf-8 )?

And the second question. When i get an email that tells me of a new comment, ampersands in the link to that comment are shown as &. Where should i correct this?

And number three. What is the right way to search by id? E.g. i write in the search field ID 1024/id 1024/id1024 but it gives me search results with thousands of records... How should i write?

When a user adds new faq or adds a solution to an open question, i can't see it in admin area/check new entries, though i am emailed about new entry. In the db they are marked as not active. How can i correct it?

And could you please answer the three questions from the posting above?
