Sub categories are not showing up on Front Page
phpMyFAQ 2.0.1
I can add the sub catagories in the admin section, but they do not appear in the Front End. It seems if I add a main category, it does show up on the Front End...any suggestions????

I fixed it
I had just upgraded from 1.6.9 to 2.0.1...I logged into the Admin section and clicked rename on the Main Category of the section I tried to add the subcategory to, saved it...and it now showed up in the category list on the Front End...not sure if this is a bug or not...but that is what did it for me.
Hi,
I tried to reproduce your bug and I couldn't reproduce this issue... how did you cause this exactly?

I've been experiencing the very same problem. I just installed and configured phpMyFAQ 2.0.1 on Apache Server, along with Php 4.x MySQL 5.x
In the admin panel, I created 'main categories' and some 'sub categories" under each main category. Then I click on let's say 'category1' on the main page but the subcategories won't show up.
I need a way to make subcategories display when a main category is clicked.
I appreciate your kind help, in advance!

I've got nearly the same problem. I've upgraded from 1.6.12. My existing subcategories are shown but when I create a new subcategory I can't see it when I access my faq from www.domain.com/faq. When I login as admin and go to categories management I can see it...
Greets and best regards,

The setting "berechtigungslevel" (access-level) is set to basic.
Perhaps a little example helps too:
If I create a new entry and associate it to a category on the root-level, I can find it (i've just created the root-level category). When I move the new entry to the subcategory (which I created like the root-level category) I can't find it and when I click on the root-category there isn't any subcategory like the existing ones.
