Post by Thorsten »

Hi,

our plans for phpMyFAQ 2.6 are currently:

- release 6 months after 2.5
- complete migration to UTF-8 (already done)
- migration from SVN to git / github (already done)
- multi-language news (already done)
- more Ajax improvements
- improved search functions
- improved export functions (already done)
- user adjustable template sets and styles (already done)
- improved attachments functionality including saving file meta info into db, saving file itself into db, encrypting files, saving files with non original filename (already done)
- internally more flexible rights evaluation based on the mathematical logic where "*" stands for "and", "+" stands for "or" (e.q. right1*right2+right3) (already done)

- OpenID support (?)
- Facebook Connect support (?)
- Twitter support (?)

If you have any wishes, please post them here.

bye

hallo Thorsten

Wäre gut wenn du das implementieren könntest.
Am einfachsten wäre es wohl, mehrere Gruppen pro FAQ zuweisen zu können.

Beispiel:
Gruppe A = user /read only
Gruppe B = reporter / add and edit entry
Gruppe C = admins / full access

some more suggestions:
  • * user adjustable template sets and styles
    * improved attachments functionality including saving file meta info into db, saving file itself into db, encrypting files, saving files with non original filename
    * internally use of the full jQuery functionality
    * internally more flexible rights evaluation based on the mathematical logic where "*" stands for "and", "+" stands for "or" (e.q. right1*right2+right3)

Tags in different languages so that when we choose a language, only the tags in that language would show up.

I would also like to have a centralized place for tags management where we could list all the tags, translate the tags, and also if we do modify a tag from this list, it would update this tag in every faq that is using it.

Thanks!
