Creating a new record with a template text - reference

Dear All

There are some posts about the possibility of creating new phpMyFAQ’s records with a template text (“Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet…”).

Perhaps the following entry on the TinyMCE’s FAQ site may help in this situation.

Select if default text, then delete when typing starts?
http://tinymce.moxiecode.com/wiki.php/TinyMCE_FAQ

Using that example, the initial (template) text is erased when the user clicks in the answer area – but it may be adapted to maintain the text and/or part of the initial code (e.g., DIV tag with in-line CSS formatting instructions for the inclosed content).

The attached file (1) contains partial screenshots of an old example used by us on a non phpMyFAQ site.

Kind regards

Yes, we know - as you may see in the edited fragment of an screenshot attached in the original post :

TinyMCE editor bar screenshot fragment with the "Insert...template..." (inside a red circle) and "...non-breaking space..." buttons. pt20100201 . 2011-04-20/27

We also use the (useful) non-breaking space button - on the left side of the previous one.

Maybe we didn't understood the users' posts and the corresponding answers - records automatically filled with a (text) content on the moment of their creation?

Sorry about wasting your time.

Kind regards

There should be an easy function to add a template by a click on a button. The first times I added a template, it would not work and I had many problems with my site ^^
