Hi,

please use the IE9 rendering engine, not the IE7 one. You can configure this in IE9.

It does not really matter much what I do personally. I cannot explain that to 500 visitors everyday. They just go away from our website if they experience this.

Anyway we don't like the new looks of PMF much:
* colors are ugly
* the proportions of the panes leave leaves little room for the main text
* fonts are too big
* as a result much too many wordwraps in menu's.
2.6 was looking so good why then this 'regression' in 2.7?

We will figure out to do minor changes in index.tpl of version 2.6 so that it will work with 2.7 (AJAX or not). I have already done, but will need to figure out how to get he header back (that funnily works in IE9 but not Chrome and Opera ..).

Hi,

you can remove the IE7 warning by removing the conditional comments in index.tpl:

Thanks .. but I think we'd rather patch the 2.6 template to work with 2.7. 2.6 simply both looks much better and also utilizes the space much better. In particular almost every entry (article header) in the left meny word-wraps and it is not easy to distinguish where individual entries start and stop with 2.7 template.

Hi,

that's okay, we always encourage our users to use own templates to use their own layout. With version 2.8 we start using the Twitter Bootstrap CSS framework to make customization even more simple.

Hi,

well, IE7 is a very old browser and very slow. It's no security risk, only lack of speed and features

sollte er bei der Auswahl einer übergeordneten Kategorie alle darunterliegenden mit in die Suche einbeziehen. Kann man das fixen, oder mir mitteilen was man dazu einstellen muss, dass es so wird?
