Search Wierdness

Post by nitchimon »

Greetings!

Great product and always evolving!

When you go into Administration, Articles, "Search for FAQs",

I noticed that if you search for words, it searches and returns entries fine.

If the keywords contain a number and you search for this number (say an error number), it returns nothing.
Add a comma after the number and it finds it.
Example: 1234 returns nothing in search
1234, returns all items as related to 1234,

Also, when I do receive results, I get [Category [#of FAQs] [ # of FAQS inactive] ]

All of the related FAQs are not "inactive" I even went into the DB and looked. They are marked active.

Can the search be fixed to search for numbers only and not have to add in a space or a comma to the end of the number ?

Also, why does it always come back with "inactive" ?? None of the FAQs in the system are marked inactive?

thanks
