Management Function

Post by Paul D. Buck »

It would be nice to have an extra management function. I know, or think I know, that I can go into the data base and "collapse" the edit history. But it would be nice to be able to do that within the tool so that it is done correctly.

Even better, and I may have said this before, is to have a preference setting for this, such as:

Only last edit
Don't track time (last date edidted only)
Only last edit, and edits with comments
Track all edit history

Does this make sense? I am playing with the tool and now I have what seems like 50 edits that are not of interest, and it is just going to grow longer ...

Did you get the CD yet? How does it sound?

Hi,

the CD arrived this weekend and it's quite good. :-)

I added your wish to my todo list.

bye

Ok,

I am not sure what is the best approach there. but we should be able to "prune" eiter automatically or by manual action ... as usuall, I am not mandationg a specific solution.
