Can I transfer myfaq from one site another?

I own two websites: Webnack.com and Webnack.ca. The .com has currently all the faq's and I would like to copy the entire contents and create a new faq in the .ca site. How can I copy and transfer everything without having to re-type it all. I just want to make sure how it works before I start using the "back up" feature in MyFAQ admin sections.
Thank you.

Hi,

just copy all files to the new server. Dump the SQL tables with phpMyAdmin and add them on the new server. Maybe you have to edit inc/data.php.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I will give that a try. I'll let you know how it works out.

Thanks.

Hi Thorsten,

Well, the process was easier than I thought. I copied all the files from the .com website to the .ca website, created a database with the same name as the .com website and that's it. I did not modified any files at all, except for some of the links...but that's for internal navigation....

Thank you for your help. This is by far, THE BEST FAQ software that I have ever used....! And I have bought a few over the years.

Thanks, you made it into my Xmas list!!

Max. :D :D :D :D :D
