Modify News Date
Could there be plans to include admin control of the posting-date in News editing (and FAQs for that matter)? I have 'old' news and it needs to be modified, but I don't want it date-stamped with current time. It should remain at original date (and original ordering in the archives) or optionally ...

Yes, I've carved things up a bit to suit my project - do you think I could have achieved the same result(s) in a less damaging way to the original code structure?
Guess I better update last week's release before I get to much farther.. that's been the main reason I fell behind in updates a couple ...

FAQ looks different between FF and IE
I have a css difference I can't seem to pin down. IE7 is showing everything properly - but in Firefox, one page is justified to the top while the other(s) are spaced down a little.
Any ideas where I can modify code to make this consistent - justified up to the top?
In Firefox...

Create new page for Top 10 & 5 Most Recent
ok... but would this apply to sitemap.php, sitemap.tpl, or a new page I create from using main.php as a guide?
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Edit
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ah, yes... so it's applied to both:
The {writeTopTenRow} is placed in the sitemap.tpl (or a new page), and the variables you noted from main ...

Create new page for Top 10 & 5 Most Recent
I'd like all pages to present only the info they feature - like for 'Home' to be just the News page (by removing top 10 and 5 recent from index.tpl).
Then I'm trying to create a new page only for the Top 10 & 5 Most Recent, with a menu link in the category list. I tried to add {writeTopTenRow} to ...

Thanks for the reply - just updating from 1.5.6... finally!
How can I remove the "There are 'x' records online" from the news/home page?

Hiding Language & View Hits
Hello,
I would like to still be able to see the number of hits myself, but not show the data publicly. Is there a way to include this info from the admin area?
A workaround might be to make the ".$row->visits." ".$PMF_LANG["msgViews"]." the same color as the background. That way I can highlight ...

Search News ?
Is the FAQ search supposed to return results from 'news' articles entered by admin? I'm only getting returns on FAQ entries, but I want users to be able to see old news in the search results if possible...did I miss this somewhere else in the Forum? Thanks for your work.
