We use 2.0.9 and have the issue that the public pages show the quote sign fine but in the admin panel under Edit FAQ it is shown as &quote;

Opening the article shows the quotes correctly.

Same applies for other characters like ', #, etc.

This is a migrated 1.6 database directly to 2.0.9.

Einige unsere Besucher haben ihren Not mit der Kommentarfunktion. Das Captcha ist nicht immer gut lesbar und wenn es falsch ist, sind alle eingegebene Kommentare weg.

Dies an sich ist unüblich, gibt es ein Fix? Wir haben 1.6.12 im Einsatz.

Issue found

In Firefox the Adblock Plus blocks the execution of the HTML editor. I had to exclude the site from Adblock and now it loads fine.

Wish computers would make life easier not more complex

Any ideas? Only difference is the directory path which was /help/faq and now is root /faq/.

But I changed the config files accordingly and also the htaccess. Anywhere else this needs to be changed to load the html editor?

No errors, nothing. Opening it in same browser from other account works fine and shows editor.

I copied 1:1 my 1.6.12 installation to a new account domain on the same server. Everything works well, except when I tried to edit there is no HTML editor loaded.

Then I tried a new installation and also there is no HTML editor visible, just the bare HTML codes.

Any idea how to fix this, it is ...

das wissen wir nicht genau, wir haben immer aktualisiert sobald es ein Update gab. Wir vermuten, dass der Hack schon vor .10 drauf war und wir es nicht gesehen haben (wie warscheinlich viele andere auch).

Dieser Hack ging nur mit IE, bei FF war sie nutzlos und gab auch keine Meldung.

Unser FAQ wurde übel gehackt. Ein Benutzer der mit IE auf die Seite kam bekam die Installation eines "Microsoft Data Objects - ..." angeboten. Das war ein Trojaner oder etwas anderem Üblen.

Nun stellte sich heraus, dass im Verzeichnis /Attachments/ zwei neue Unterverzeichnisse entstanden ...

I found it via the "Edit FAQ entry" which then showed all categories and the comment.

Would request a menu section is added for comments. I can imagine on large FAQs an overview of all comments is helpful.

Hi, I have about 100 articles in the FAQ and seen that one person left a comment. I have no idea where to find it, there is no option in the admin to show all comments...

When someone submits a new FAQ an email is sent. That works, however the link in the email is not to the admin panel but to the normal FAQ:
