I noticed that when users change their password there is a gramatical error in the confirmation of the change. I have modified the file language_en.php on line 512 from "Your password have changed" to "Your password has been changed".

I use MySQL but found that the problem was with the population of one table. I removed the contents of the stopwords.sql.php and reinstalled and was able to log in.

HAve you created teh DB first? I got the same message because I assumed the DB would be created with the setup. I had to add the DB to the administrator account I created as well.

Unable to login admin after install
I have just installed myphpFAQ-2.6.3 for the 4th time and trying to login as admin but fails authentication. With each install I have tried a different password for admin and confirmed the same password. In each event I get the same message that the password or user name is invalid.
