Hi the problem was in index.php (root folder of phpmyfaq)
I fixed it by eliminating the session.destroy function in index.php (line 144 and above)

At your phpmayfaq the problem is the same .
Switch language and click at an english article, you will see it goes back to german left (Navigator) and right

Enable automatic language detection have no effect on this.
The only change i had the last days it seemed to work after checking/unchecking this feature (but i was logged in of course and this why it was working so i oversaw this bug ...)
In 2.7.1 this setting did not work at all, now when i use ...

i have got the same problem.
When logged in it is ok, but when i close all browsers where i am logged in it flips always back to Standard language: German. (we only have unregistered users German/English)
In firefox you can configure English for instance to Standard language then it is fine

ok man sollte das tun was man schreibt ich habe in der artikel.tpl rum geeiert das steht der highlighter nämlich auch drin.
Kaum macht man es in der artikel.php geht es schon

Unser Amerikaner lieben mit a zu suchen z.B. "Activating a patch"

Habe genau das gleiche Problem mit Version 2.6.11. (diese Version wurde ein paar mal upgedated)
Es geschieht immer dann wenn ich ein bestehendes Bild ändern will.
Danach sind alle Bilder unter images weg und es liegen besagte Dateien.
gc_counter.ajax.php und gc_log.ajax.php im Verzeichnis images ...

No last update took 1 and half day until i had all bugs out. I have a test system of course if you made any changes in last release in this direction i will give it a try.

In former times we used to send links in the specific language like:

http://<url>/index.php?action=artikel&cat=22&id=116&artlang=de
http://<url>/index.php?action=artikel&cat=22&id=116&artlang=en

So we made sure, the customer has the proper article in the translation
This doesn't work anymore ...

I went partly back to Version v.2.6.9 and the script worked half.
Only English articles have been updated, but the sql result generated by the script could be copied for German entries.
So i am finished.
So far 2.6.11 has attachment bugs and rss bugs -> seperate task http://forum.phpmyfaq.de ...

i updated to v.2.6.11 and had the same problem.
went partly back to 2.6.9 and problem is gone.

Hi I updated from v2.0x to v.2.6.11 (latest one so far)
and the script you mentioned above did nothing.
When I type it in the url it displays a white page and thats it
Any ideas?
