It is MySQL 5.1 running on PHP5 with IIS6 on Server 2003.

We have tried already deleting and recreating the db.

Also tried different table prefixes.

We have set that folder as writable now and it creates the database.php file then comes up with the following error


Error: Please install your version of phpMyFAQ once again or send us a bug report.

DB error: Incorrect string value: '\xE2\x88\x9A\xE2\x80\xA2' for column 'stopword' at row 1 ...

Thanks for your quick reply. I've just double checked and the installation directory and configuration file are both writable but we still achieve the same error message,

When we are trying to install phpmyfaq onto Windows 2003 Server with IIS6.0 when we try to setup, it is saying the database.php file is not writeable. When we rename database.php-dist to database.php it then says the database is already isntalled and we cannot get any further with the ...
