I was having this same issue in 2.8.11 and 2.8.12 after migrating to a different server. When clicking on any category, none of the FAQs in that category were listed, but they did come up in searches.
This thread led me to faq.php where I tried tweaking the query a bit. I removed the $order line ...

I would like to have article title and category in the emails as well.  Did you find a way of accomplishing this?

Hello,
I recently set up phpMyFAQ on our local intranet and after finally getting IIS and PHP configured correctly, the install seemed to work flawlessly. There is one remaining issue that I can't seem to correct however. On the Admin page, all of the icons for each button or menu item are missing ...
