Re: duplicate content issues in Google WMT
That does not help with pages that have identical meta tags.

The original URL is without "stringxyz"
Thanks

Re: sitemap problem
Well, however the {currentPageUrl} is created, here it comes back with the double root of FAQ. But please note, this all started by sitemap listing those URLs. If I visit the FAQ normally, URLs are fine. But if I enter additional string, the canonical changes. That's why I stated that there was some...

Re: sitemap problem
Well, I just realized that the canonical tag is wrong as well, so the URL system is simply broken. The canonical itself does the same what was in the sitemap, it puts the FAQ root URL twice. That's really wrong. I did disable the sitemap manually, and put my own I created manually, but now when all ...

Re: sitemap problem
Additional question: Google has started reporting duplicated content issues because it has already picked "doubled" URLs. I'm trying to fix it by implementing 301 redirects, but having a hard time. It looks like something from the existing FAQ configuration (.htaccess I guess) is preventin...

sitemap - ON/OFF
Recent trouble with the sitemap promoted me to think about having an option to turn sitemap ON and OFF - simple as that. It could be under the SEO tab. For example, since we have an issue right now, I would maybe copy the existing sitemap, fix it, and post it manually. But, how do I ensure it will n...

sitemap problem
Recently I saw Google dropping out my FAQ pages from its index. I just looked into the sitemap, and saw this: http://www.mysite.com/faq/http://www.mysite.com/faq/ ... and then it continues with the url, whatever is the page. Now I'm not sure if I should delete the full path from configuration, or if...

sitemap schema
As per this Google's page: https://www.google.com/schemas/sitemap/0.84/ where it says "Google adheres to Sitemap Protocol 0.9 as defined by sitemaps.org" it looks like the auto-generated sitemap should be updated. http://www.sitemaps.org/protocol.html This is what should be in the head of ...

Re: Be able to export statistics
CSV is good, and as for the practical part, I think the right way would be to have an export button at the page where we run the report.

Re: Be able to export statistics
Thanks, but I don't see an option to download Search Statistics report. Nothing for the rating statistics either.
Looking into reports in other platforms, a user normally has a chance to download a report from the page where he/she is seeing that same report.
Thanks

Be able to export statistics
Hi, We should be able to export any of the options under Statistics. Anything that can be cleared should easily be exportable. I know that we can export the database, or export certain tables via MySQL, but exporting (txt, csv) through the Admin should be there. For example, I would like to export se...

Re: duplicate content issues in Google WMT
This has been set now in Github, but I wanted to make another remark, same issue in WMT. Several pages come up with the same title and meta description: /faq/ /faq/contact.html /faq/glossary.html /faq/news/1/en/some-news_article.html /faq/open.html /faq/search.html While some of the above may not be...
