the main layout page is index.tpl. You had to change all files because you wanted to have the top 10 on all pages.

phpMyFAQ is really excellent, near perfect for me with the existing set of features. My suggestions for enhancements:
- being able to order news and modify the posted date
- search-engine friendly URLs
- a simple static pages module
- being able to list the same article under multiple categories ...
