The "language_en.php" file has various topic headings inserted as comments in German. Does this mean that the items under such headings are only applicable to German language sites, or is this merely an issue of not putting the English translations of the topic headings in the file?
Thanks,
-Danny.

Re: Adding Custom Header and Footer
you can edit the index.tpl files, it's just HTML with some template variables.

Thorsten
I can give that a try, but I have a few preliminary questions:
1. Is there some documentation that I can reference so that I will know what variable names represent what display elements? For example, I ...

Adding Custom Header and Footer
I would like to have phpMyFAQ displayed to users in a way that the FAQ will be embedded between the regular header and footer that I use for the rest of the web site. I currently use a simple server side include system with .shtml files, so I was hoping there might be a way to just insert the FAQ ...

I am doing a new install of phpMyFAQ, latest version, and after copying all the files to the server, when I try to do the setup (http://www.domainname.com/faq/install/setup.php) all I get is a message saying: "ERROR 500 - INTERNAL SERVER ERROR"

Auto-Save Crash Protection
It would be nice if phpMyFAQ incorporated some sort of auto-save routine so that if something goes wrong as a user is entering data - whether a question or an answer for a FAQ, they do not lose that data if there is a system crash, lost connection, or other such problem. This feature would be like ...

Batch Mode Category Setup
During initial setup of a FAQ system, is it possible to add categories to the system in a "batch" mode? That is, instead of having to enter each category one at a time, can I enter a list of categories all at once?
Thanks,
Thanks,

Upgrade / Move 1.6.1 to 1.6.2
I want to upgrade from 1.6.1 to 1.6.2 AND simultaniously move my installation from one domain (domain1) to another (domain2).
The docs say to copy the 1.6.2 files on top of the 1.6.1 files, or specifically "Via FTP copy all new files from the phpMyFAQ package except:"

Contact Form Display Problem
I'm having several problems with the Contact Form display (see http://www.dannyweiss.net/faq).

Closing Questions
What do I need to do to remove answered questions from the "open questions" list? I thought once I answered a question and activitated it then it would no longer appear waiting to be answered, but that is not the case (v 1.61).
Thanks,
