phpMyFAQ 1.5.7 update
I just tried to update to 1.5.7. It seems like php_mod_rewrite is broken with this release! It works fine if I disable php_mod_rewrite, but if I enable it links do not resolve! Looks like a problems with the distributed _.htaccess. After copying the .htaccess 1.5.6 version from old installation thin...

Sessions sort strange .. or rather don't!
se
I seems that this happens certain days - other days session logs are sorted. Today is 1st of month. Any idea? Conversion from UNIX_TIMESTAMP issue?

filzip
Actually filzip www.filzip.com (freeware - the BEST archiver and solid as genuine German PANZER :) (it is developed by a German)) opens it. It dislays an error message though *error in xip structure* And I cannot verify it as my system does not support the charset and I don't read Chinese. However t...

hi ..
Please not that I edited a little bit. It is no big issue for me as of now. We have only changed a littled in the english language file, the index.tpl and the start page. Google adds, removing 'Ask question etc, adding a few menuitems etc. We decided to wait for version 2 before changing overall des...

changed files
Why do you need a list of changed files? Simply to be sure that I don't overlook something. If I have 'modded' a template, a style-sheet, a language-file, a php-file or .htaccess I must remember to port those 'mods' to the new version. I have overlooked a few changes over the last halft year. Those...

I really would appreciate if each new release had a complete list of files that have been added, removed and changed since last release. EVERY SINGLE ONE with just the change of a comma!

MySQL change
We have moved to another server. Most significantly the new server has MySQL 4.1. Before was 3.23.
After copying the files, dumping and reimporting the database on the new server everything seems to work fine.
However: anything that should be done in this case?

additional info
1) I reimported a database backup to compared privleges in user table and compared the database for 1.5.6 nd 1-5-0. They are both '1111111111111111111111' for a user with all privileges. I don't understand how one '1' has disappeared! 2) From the change-notes: "adds a unique solution id to ever...

phpmyfaq 160
I briefly tested in on my local (I am running a test-mirror here). Update from 1.5.5 displayed no error. And the basic FAQ user-functionality seemed OK. However I have these issues/questions. 1) Privilege. The user that I use to use when accessing the admin panel did not have access to configuration...

adding colums to database tables.
This is a question! Will it cause any sort of problems with phpMyFAQ if I add one or more columns to some of the database tables? This Q is asked for install/update as well as for (user)runtime and Admin-panel operations! And will I need to change any PHP code? I think my needs here are so special t...

export as plain HTML
How do I export the FAQ as 'plain HTML'. With 'plain HTML' I mean that each FAQ entry should be exported a HTML document - and HTML only - no use of css etc. Also it should only be the article itself - no headers or left- or right columns. We consider integrating and cross-linking the FAQ with the h...

Sorry.
Sorry. My fault! I was never aware that the .htaccess was updated. So the #sitemap was not there in .htaccess. It was the (irrelevant) _.htaccess I pasted in. It is there now: http://webyog.com/faq/sitemap-A_en.html But is is a cosmetical flaw I think that it displays sitemap-A_en.html when A is emp...
