after upgrade - missing files, file verification check fails
After an upgrade from 2.8.7 to 2.9.1, Online verification check lists those files as with local changes: /inc/libs/phpseclib/Crypt/TripleDES.php /inc/libs/phpseclib/Crypt/Rijndael.php /inc/libs/phpseclib/Crypt/RSA.php /inc/libs/phpseclib/Crypt/RC2.php /inc/libs/phpseclib/Crypt/Hash.php /inc/libs/php...

.htaccess not created during upgrade
Just finished with the upgrade from 2.8.7 to 2.9.1 and saw that all of the FAQs were giving 404 error. I always had Enable URL rewrite support enabled. I turned it OFF in Configuration , all of the FAQs were then accessible, then I turned it back ON, with no luck, all 404s again. Then I checked the ...

upgrade from 2.8x to 2.9 - keep/upgrade the theme?
Hello, First, thanks for the great work! Now when we're getting ready to go from 2.8.27 to 2.9.0, what are the options to keep the Spacelab theme? The one used with 2.8.x is the v2 of Bootstrap. Once we upgrade to 2.9, I guess it is not enough to grab the Spacelab v3 CSS file from Bootswatch, or is ...

Re: Search results, set the order of FAQs
Thanks. No, it should not. I do have a few that I made "sticky" which is a great feature.
Would it be possible to introduce more configuration settings for search where "Sort by relevance" would also have something like "Keywords, Question" or keywords only?
Thanks

Search results, set the order of FAQs
If we have a phrase like "word1 word2" which repeats in 10 FAQs, and that phrase has been entered as a both keyword and tag for all 10 questions (very prevalent keyword), is there any way to set a specific FAQ to always show first when a visitor enters the phrase into search box?
Thanks
Thanks

Copied all over again and now everything looks good. Latest version, and file verification is good as well.
Thank you!

Re: Upgrade to phpMyFAQ 2.8.24
I did. It run fine. It gave a message about deleting install and update automatically. All looked good. :/
I could maybe try simply copying all over again to see what will happen...

Thanks. Even though the files were copied over to overwrite old ones, it still shows 2.8.23.

Re: Sticky questions order
Well, if we take that people do not put too many sticky notes out there, we could maintain it by having an input field besides the sticky checkmark. The input field would be for numerals that would set the order. For example, I have 5 FAQs marked as sticky. I mark one of them with 1, and that one go...

Sticky questions order
Hi,
What determines the order of sticky FAQs?
Is there any way of controlling it?
Thanks
