Can't add a new Category

Why do I get this error message, although I am logged in as Admin?
I use currently with 2.9.13.

Is it limited to 4 Sub-Categories?

Hi,

are you sure you didn't remove that permission from the admin user, otherwise this cannot happen.

Additionally, v2.9 is out of support, please upgrade to v3.0

I installed the newest Version. Will need to get my content over into the new version now.
Could well be that I removed a tick in the settings somewhere.

So, fresh install of 3.0.4 and same problem with creating a Category.

What am I doing wrong. This time I have definitely not messed with any configuration settings.

Also I created a second user and it's not created, although it tells me it was successful.

Hi,

so I don't know what it was, but I am able to add a new category again.
I just tried it again next day and it was working fine, without me changing anything.
Probably an issue on Hosters site.
