Through a set of circumstances that I needn't go into here, I had to reinstall phpMyFAQ completely. I was unable to make a backup through the program. I have reinstalled phpMyFAQ as a completely clean reinstall. I did download all of the individual files from the server before I lost them all - the file structure is intact. IE, I have Admin, Attachments, Data, etc. So my question is this - can I restore my PHP FAQ from these files? Can I upload them to their specific locations to the new install? Or am I going to have to recreate all of my FAQs manually?
Thanks!

Re: Restore FAQs without a Backup?
Hi
the actual FAQs and various other data are stored in the database, not in files. If you have a backup of your database, you could import the data into the database and the application should run
Cheers,
Wolfgang
