Redirect - Login Page

Hello,

I just did a clean install on my webserver of phpMyFAQ 2.7.8. The install went through fine, however, when I login to the administration area and try to do anything such as create a FAQ or whatever, it redirects me back to login, I login, it takes me back to the administration area. I browsed the forum but cant pinpoint the fix for this?

please add some infos about database server, PHP version, OS. Did you tried 2.7.9?

I did try 2.7.9 last night..it threw more errors than 2.7.8 so I put 2.7.8 back on.

You know what, I'm sorry, did you just put that up? I did the beta version last night, not the 2.7.9, should I try 2.7.9?

Ok, I installed 2.7.9 and it does the same thing. The install goes through fine, it says successful. However, when I attempt to Create and Article, or do really anything under Administration, it takes me to the initial login screen.

I have exactly the same problem.

I was under 2.7.1, and all of a sudden I was redirected to the login page for any click related to administration. The user side is working normally. So I upgraded to 2.7.9 but the problem remains.

I'm under MAMP on Mac OS Server 10.8.2 (Mountain Lion).

This problem seems to be cookies related, because on a clean install of Chrome, it's working perfectly...

After testing, it doesn't work on Safari and Firefox, but it's ok on other browsers. (Chrome, Omniweb, Camino)
Safari has been resetted, but it doesn't change anything.

Any idea ?

I could login with Firefox 17.0.1 on OS X 10.7.5 without any issues and could a test FAQ.
