Hi,
I'm pretty sure the answer is "you should document your changes and apply them after the upgrade", but I'm asking anyway. I have slightly modified my 2.7.9 install and I'd like to know if there is a way to detect my changes during the upgrade.
Thanks,

Re: Upgrading an install with changes
Hi,
there's a basic verification check in the admin dashboard. But only per file. If you upgrade to 2.8, there are more than 1,100 changes between 2.7 and 2.8. There will be no 2.7.10 release.

Re: Upgrading an install with changes
So the answer is to document our changes so that we can apply them in the new version?

Hi,
yes, or if you're familiar with Git, you can fork my repository, add your features to your forked version and use my repo as upstream version. Should work.
