No Email sent to registered User!?

hello!

i set up phpmyfaq (latest stable).
when a new user clicks on "register" he enters his name, username and email.

we receive this email:
New user has been registrated:

Name: x y
Login name: z

To activate this user do please use the administration interface at http://faq.abcde.de.


here is the problem:

the user (in this case mr. x y) does NOT receive any emails from phpmyfaq (tested with different mail adresses). so he can't login, because he has no valid password. i think the password will be sent to the user???
phpmail is working (as noticed above we receive the notification email).

what can i do? are there any settings i can change?

you have to activate the user and he'll get the mail.
