Hello,
if the user starts a blank search (basically don't type anything and press the magnifier icon), the list of all FAQs appears included the piece of content. Is there any option how to:
1. Show only FAQs in the search list where the user is permitted on?
or
2. disappear the content from the Search list of FAQs?
We are using PHPmyFAQ for multiple users and groups and the content has to be restricted for each group. I went through settings multiple times and didn't find any option on how to change this behavior.
Please advice
Thanks
Jan

Hi,
which version do you use? Do you use the database only search or Elasticsearch?

Hi,
I will consider to setup Elasticsearch, but can you please provide me some example, where this option is already in place? I would like to check if that will help us or not. From the description, I am not able to decide whether yes or no.
Many many thanks in advance

Hi,
usually we filter all results due to the user permissions before showing the results to the user. If it's not working, we have a bug.

Re: Search FAQs restrictions
Hi,
unfortunately this is our situation. The user see result list with all FAQs containing the keyword, even if he/she don't have access to specific category/FAQ. I tested it again and behaviour is same.
Does it mean I don't need setup Elastisic search? Would behaviour stay same?
